Brief Itinerary
DAY 01: AHLAN WAH SAHLAN (WELCOME) TO OMAN
On arrival Muscat you will be met and transfer to Hotel Hormuz Grand. You will have time to relax subsequent to which guests are invited for a expedition breifing session by our logstic leader cum guide. Afternoon we will have a quick orientation tour of Muscat covering Jalali/Mirani forts, Bait Al Zubair Museum, Sultan’s Palace, Opera House & Grand Mosque. We also have the opportunity to walk along the Corniche and later visit to Muttrah souk. Return to hotel for overnight stay
DAY 02: Muscat-Fins Beach-Sur
After check-out at the hotel you start your fascinating roundtrip by 4 x 4 vehicle with the first leg taking you in South eastern direction along the coast to Sur. The road leads through scenic countryside and rugged mountains to the small fishing town of Quriyat. Stop at the limestone Sinkhole in Bimah and then continue to Fins. You visit Wadi Tiwi, an oasis well known for its lemon and date plantations and then proceed to the Bibi Miriam Mausoleum in Qalhat. After a short drive you will reach the coastal town of Sur, where you will check in to a Turtle Beach Resort. After an early dinner you will visit the turtle sanctuary at Ras Al Jinz. Return to Hotel
DAY 03: Sur-Wadi Bani Khalid-Wahiba Sands
After breakfast check out at the hotel you will first be taken on a short tour of Sur, renowned in former times for its shipyard, where the dhows, the traditional wooden Omani boats were built. Later we proceed to Wadi Bani Khalid – an oasis spot in the middle of the barren and dry mountains and picnic lunch will be served here.. The afternoon is reserved for your desert experience. You drive into the Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand. After some exciting sand dune driving with your experienced drivers, you will arrive and check-in at Wild Desert Camp. Overnight at Camp.
Day 04 & Day 05: Sharqiyah Sands-Desert Trekking:
Daily trekking 4/5 hours. Overnight camping in tents with all meals cooked at tents. Wild desert Camping
Day 06: Sharqiyah Sands – Al Ashkara

After breakfast cross over to Al Askhara, an exotic location where sands meet ocean. 3 hours walk in the afternoon session. Overnight Camping at Al Ashkara Beach.
Day 07: Return to Muscat to connect flight back home.
