Brief Itinerary
Day 01(31OCT-Thursday): Muscat – Wahiba
Pick up from Muscat Hotel at 8 am and drive to Wahiba sands via traditional Old Omani village Ibra & Al Mintrib with a stop at each place for photo sessions. Later drive into the Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand. After some exciting sand dune driving with your experienced drivers, you will arrive and check-in at the Desert Nights Camp. You may want to go on a camel ride or do some sand skiing before visiting the home of a Bedouin Family where you will experience the traditional Arabic hospitality with coffee and dates. Back at the camp and later watch the sun set from top of a sand dune heights. Eenjoy a BBQ dinner with Omani music. Overnight at Desert Nights Camp.

Day 02 (01NOV-Friday): Wahiba – Ras Al Jinz
Overnight at Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve.After breakfast we start our tour and our first destination today is Wadi Bani Khalid – an oasis spot in the middle of the barren and dry mountains. It is one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman with pools with clear deep blue water. Maybe you will catch a glimpse on the small hamlets that cling precariously to the rugged mountainside. You then head for the coastal town of Sur, renowned in former times for its shipyard, where the dhows, the traditional wooden Omani boats were built. Unfortunately, the operation at the yard has almost been completely shut down. You will have lunch at a local Sea Food Restaurant and then continue to Ras Al Hadd and check in at Ras Al Junz Turtle Reserve. After an early dinner at the hotel you will visit the turtle sanctuary at Ras Al Jinz, where at night the Green Turtles, after a journey of thousands of kilometers will come ashore to lay their eggs.

Day 03 (02NOV13-Saturday): RAS AL JINZ-SUR-MUSCAT
After breakfast start your fascinating return journey via coastal road to Muscat. The road leads through scenic countryside and rugged mountains to the small fishing towns. On the coastal road you stop at Bibi Miriam Mausoleum in Qalhat. Later you visit Wadi Tiwi, an oasis well known for its lemon and date plantations and then proceed to Fins beach. Later drive to Muscat en route Stop at limestone Sinkhole in Bimah and Wadi Arbaeen.
