Brief Itinerary
(06 NIGHTS & 07 DAYS)
DAY 01 (Saturday) : ARRIVAL IN MUSCAT
Meet & assist at the airport and transfer to Hotel Al Falaj -4* (www.alfalajhotel.com)
DAY 02 (Sunday): HALF DAY MUSCAT CITY TOUR
Tour starts at 08:30 in the morning with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Middle East and allows entry fornon-Muslim visitors; it is the main mosque in Oman and a must-visit for anyone seeking to experience the rich cultural heritage of the country. Followed by a photo stop at Royal Opera house. The house officially opened in 2011 and serves as a centre for excellence in the arts and enriches its heritage by culturally diverse programs and events. Next stop will be at picturesque Corniche and then to once walled “Old Muscat” followed by visit to the Bait Al Zubair Museum (a private collection exhibiting the wealth of Oman’s history and thus imparting knowledge about the country’s rich culture and traditions to the visitors).This will be followed by a photo stop at the residence of his Majesty Haitham Bin Tariq, the Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. Before ending the tour you will be strolling through Muttrah Souq, where you can bargain for Omani handicrafts and silver items prior to returning to the hotel

Note: To enter Grand mosque dress code for Ladies should be fully covered with scarf and wear full sleeves shirt and Men are not allowed to wear short. Grand Mosque & Museums are closed during Fridays & Government Holidays. Child under 10 years are not allowed inside the mosque. Grand Mosque open at 8 am till 11 am
DAY 03 (Monday): MUSCAT-SUR (250 km/08 hours)
After breakfast we start on our day long program to coastal town of Sur via the scenic and rugged coastal route. This tour offers breathtaking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset by pristine white beaches. Proceed to the small fishing town of Quriyat. Then we will drive to Wadi Shaab. It is one of the most beautiful wadis and its pools of clear deep blue water give you an opportunity to take a refreshing dip. On the coastal road you stop at the limestone Sinkhole in Bimah . After that we drive to Sur and visit Dhow Building Yard. Check in at Hotel Sur Plaza -3* (www.omanhotels.com) (B/D)
DAY 04 (Tuesday): SUR-WADI BANI KHALID – WAHIBASANDS (250 km/08 hours)
Morning before proceeding to Wahiba Sands we go to Wadi Bani Khalid, an oasis spot in the middle of the barren and dry mountains. 4WD will be used for the transfers to the Camp and Wadi visits. It is one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman having pools with clear deep blue water. You may catch a glimpse of small hamlets that cling precariously to the rugged cliffs. Then proceed to Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sands. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight. You might even feel like going on a short Camel ride (optional). Drive up to dune top to view the sun set. Overnight in Sama Al Wasil Desert Camp (3*) (www.samaresorts.com) . BBQ dinner and overnight at Camp. (B/D).
DAY 05 (Wednesday): WAHIBASANDS –IBRA- NIZWA (300 km/08 hours)
After breakfast drive to Ibra. Ibra is one of the oldest cities in Oman and was once a center of trade, religion, education and art. The city acquired its importance as an important meeting point at the base of the Ash Sharqiya. The city, famous for its handicrafts and agricultural products, has an expansive souq showcasing an array of products. The city’s main attraction is always Women’s souk that takes place on Wednesdays. There is no access to men in this souk. They sell mainly textiles including beautiful hand-embroidered cloths. Then you will stop for quick photo stop at Jabrin Castle built in 17th century is one of the finest of its kind. Castle is famous for its magnificent plasterwork, the carved doors and the painted wooden beams of the ceilings make this castle amazingly different. This Castle is photographers delight due to its Islamic architectural grandeur. We then proceed to Bahla, one of the oldest towns of Oman and in the 12th century the capital of the tribe living in the region. Visit Bahla Fort by a photo stop which boasts as one of the UNESCO heritage sites. Bahlais also famous for its pottery and you will visit a potter’s workshop. DAY 06 (Thursday): NIZWA-AL HAMRA-JABALSHAMS-NIZWA (250 km/ 08 hours)
Breakfast at the Hotel, Today your 4WD will pick from hotel and day excursion to Jabal Shams. First we proceed to Al Hamra one of the oldest villages in Oman with clay houses dating back up to 400 years. Then you will proceed to Misfat Al Abriyeen, an authentic, ‘living’ Omani mud village build into a mountainside in the Al Hamra region. Made up of houses, a maze of shaded passageways, beautiful gardens and open terrace. The group will be allowed to spend ample time visualize and take photos of the century old mud and stone houses. Then proceed to Jabel Shams, the Great Canyon of Oman. Return back to the hotel. Enjoy the farewell dinner at Local Arabic restaurant. Overnight stay at Hotel Al Diyar (3*) (B/D)
DAY 07 (Friday): DEPARTURE
After early breakfast morning visit to the Goat Market, held on early morning Friday’s. This is where the local farmers bring goats, cattle and other products to sell. Then you will visit the historic Nizwa Fort & Souk .Then Proceed to Muscat en route visit at Birkat Al Mawz, a traditional village in the Nizwa region. Visit UNESCO accredited Falaj System. Drive to Seeb International Airport for your return journey. (B)

Cancellation before between 30-21 days of arrival | 25% of the tour costs will be charged. |
Cancellation between 20–11 Days prior to arrival | 50 % of the tours costs will be charged. |
Cancellation 10 Days prior to arrival | 100% of the tour costs will be charged |
Terms & conditions;
- The tour starts in Muscat every week on a Saturday (Day 1 is always Saturday)
- If a guest decides during the cancellation policy not to participate in the trip for any reason there will be no refund
- If a guest arrive or depart on a day other than the scheduled arrival and departure date, Airport Transfers will be charged accordingly.
